       Brothers Bernie and Joe Puglisi, with more than 20 years combined in the party rental business, own successful rental companies in Rochester and Syracuse, N.Y. As members of the rental industry, they are constantly searching to find products that save time. One piece of equipment that they rent on a daily basis is simply the folding table. They rent tables for company picnics, festivals, trade shows, and literally hundreds of purposes. For years they used to cover tables the 'old fashioned way' with rolls of plastic. They would cut, staple, or tape the covering to the table, which was a very time consuming process, not to mention hard on the equipment.
       Their newest creation, the Kwik-Cover, was created after a family birthday party for their niece. They were covering some tables with a regular disposable table covering, and it was quite windy out. It was very hard to secure the covering to the table. Another brother of theirs, made a comment to Bernie and Joe. He simply said "Why don't they make these with elastic around the edges to cover a table like a bed sheet does?" Bernie and Joe looked at each other, and that's all it took to get the gears turning. In short, that was how the the KwikCover was born.
        Since then, they have secured an exclusive manufacturer overseas to produce the Kwik-Cover and have several independent representatives marketing Kwik-Covers (Quick Covers) throughout the United States and Canada. They warehouse and ship them from their fulfillment and transportation center in Syracuse, NY.        
       Bernie and Joe were raised by parents who taught them to "work hard and save, save, save." They had newspaper routes, mowed lawns, shoveled driveways, and learned about responsibility from an early age.
       Bernie and Joe both play and coach basketball, volunteer as cub scouts leaders, and enjoy spending quality time with their families. Bernie has two sons, and Joe is the father of four sons.
